ESNNA Code of Conduct - CUSCOATOUR Child Protection in Tourism - CUSCOATOUR

📜 Our Commitment

By adhering to the Code of Conduct to combat the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA), we commit to consistently implementing a series of actions to prevent and eradicate this problem.

As a travel agency and tour operator, CUSCOATOUR ratifies this commitment by subscribing to the Code of Conduct against ESNNA with GERCETUR. We commit to respecting the principles and responsibilities established in this document, as well as complying with the General Tourism Law and its regulations for the prevention of ESNNA.

👥 Training Our Team

We strive to raise awareness and train all members of our team, including administrative, operational and sales staff, to contribute to the elimination of ESNNA.

Reflecting our values and legal obligations, no member of the CUSCOATOUR team will participate in or tolerate any form of sexual commerce involving:

  • Exploitation of children and adolescents in pornographic activities

Likewise, we commit to educating and training all our stakeholders and collaborators, including:

  • Tour guides
  • Cooks and support staff
  • Drivers
  • Muleteers

In accordance with our values and legal obligations, none of our collaborators will participate in or accept requests related to various forms of sexual commerce involving minors.

📋 Code of Conduct for Suppliers

We also support the Code of Conduct of CUSCOATOUR for Suppliers. Through this, all stakeholders and participants in our operational value chain commit to fulfilling the five commitments established in the document and to reporting ESNNA to the competent authorities when necessary.

1

Establish ethical policy against ESNNA

2

Train staff in prevention

3

Include clauses in contracts with suppliers

4

Inform travelers about legislation

5

Report suspicious cases to authorities

💚 Corporate Social Responsibility

As an integral part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, CUSCOATOUR actively promotes the well-being of children and adolescents in our region and country.

This is achieved indirectly by generating income for families in the destinations where we operate our tourist activities, and by supporting children during special occasions such as Christmas, Children's Day, and other celebrations.

🌟 We firmly believe that tourism should be a positive force for local communities and especially for the protection of the most vulnerable.

🚨 Do you know of any ESNNA case?

If you have knowledge of any situation of sexual exploitation of minors, we urge you to report it to the competent authorities.
